
Senior Technical Artist

At Lostboys interactive I handled all aspects of development on a gearbox project for one of gearbox's long time fan favorite IP's. As the only technical artist for the project I spent most of my time bridging gaps between teams and ensuring the games technical budget was kept in check while also reaching the highest visual quality possible. From VFX and Cinematics to console development and testing I had my hands in every stage of the project and I got to see it grow to something truly amazing. Unfortunately due to higher level decisions and a failed merger with the embracer group the project was taken in house by gearbox and we were moved as a team to working on a different game title also in production.
The new project being a hyper realistic colony sim with high levels of player freedom and possibilities. Unfortunately due to the failed merger and several projects being put on hold there were layoffs that hit half the studio myself included. But i enjoyed every day i worked for LBI and I wish them luck on future endevors.
